Dolomites

Dolomite is an anhydrous carbonate mineral composed of calcium and magnesium carbonates, with the chemical formula CaMg(CO3)2. The term is also used to refer to sedimentary carbonate rocks that are primarily composed of the mineral dolomite. An alternative name sometimes used for the type of rock is dolostone.
